Nevenka Hrovatin

Nevenka Hrovatin EPC4Prof. dr. Nevenka Hrovatin je redna profesorica na Ekonomski fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani. Trenutno je podpredsednica SAEE, na EF pa članica senata, predsednica komisije za kadrovske zadeve in habilitacije, vodja raziskovalne skupine „Konkurenčnost, inovativnost, učinkovitost in trajnostni razvoj slovenskega gospodarstva v procesih razvoja EU”, vodja skupnega podiplomskega programa Javni sektor in ekonomika okolja, ki ga EF organizira skupaj z Univerzo v Sarajevu ter predstojnica Inštituta za javni sektor. Sodeluje kot članica v uredniških dborih revij Economic and Business Review,Mednarodna revija za javno upravo (Administration) in CEA Journal of Economics. Objavila je več člankov v uglednih mednarodnih revijah (Energy policy, Utilities Policy, Journal of Productivity Analysis, Telecommunicaitons Policy) ter redno sodeluje na številnih mednarodnih konferencah. Leta 2013 je skupaj s soavtorico prof. Jeleno Zorić pejela nagrado ARRS za najboljšo objavo v s področja ekonomije. IAEE ji je zaupal vodstvo programskega odbora Evropske energetske konference, ki bo potekala konec avgusta 2016 v Ljubljani. Za svoje delo na raziskovalnem in pedagoškem področju je leta 2015 prejela zlato plaketo Univerze v Ljubljani.

V preteklosti je opravljala naslednje vidnejše funkcije: bila je predsednica sveta Agencije za trg vrednostnih papirjev RS, predsednica Sveta Agencije za revidiranje lastninskega preoblikovanja podjetij, članica Sveta za cene pri Ministrstvu za ekonomske odnose in razvoj, članica Energetskega sveta predsednika vlade RS, članica Sveta za javno-zasebno partnerstvo pri Ministrstvu za finance RS ter prodekanja za mednarodno sodelovanje na Ekonomski fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani (EF). Bila je tudi članica nadzornih svetov več slovenskih podjetij in predsednica nadzornega sveta JP Energetika Ljubljana.

Mateja Čuk

Mateja cuk EPC4Mateja Čuk works as an attorney-at-law for Law firm Rojs, Peljhan, Prelesnik & partners o.p., d.o.o., where one of her main field of interests represent energy legal and regulatory issues. She started her career as an energy lawyer at the Directorate for energy, Ministry of the environment and spatial planning in 2004, immediately after her postgraduate studies of law at the University of Amsterdam. In 2007 she successfully passed state judicial examination and joined Slovenian power market operator Borzen, d.o.o., where she worked also as a Head of Legal and HR department. She was active in various associations such as EUROPEX in EURELECTRIC. She regularly gives lectures on the Slovenian energy regulation for ICES and ZDES and was nominated as the examiner for the state examination for managers of energy installations. She also had the opportunity to present the Slovenian energy regulatory framework to Slovenian judges. She is an author of the manual “Short overview of the new regulation on Slovenian energy system”, published by ICES in 2014 and of the contribution on the Slovenian implementation of the third energy package in the book, which will soon be published by Oxford University Press: Legal Aspects of EU Energy Regulation.

 

Kresimir Bakic

K.Bakic EPC4Kresimir Bakic is power engineering expert with 40 years of experiences in power system planning, development, economy of systems, interconnection designing systems, optimization of VAR compensation, OHL designing, construction and monitoring systems, DLR, system regulation and last years in standardization of OHLs and conductors issues. After graduated at University of Ljubljana in 1975, he was with Electric Power Researching Institute Milan Vidmar, as Head of the Power System Planning, with University of Ljubljana in education process between 1980 and 1992, and after 2003 as senior Adviser with ELES, Slovenian TSO.

As principal investigator he has made over 150 technical studies and over 100 papers published on conferences and meetings as well scientific magazines, text books for students, vocabularies, and history files of electricity. For many years he was regular member of CIGRE Study Committee for System Development and Economy, where he received (in 2004) the CIGRE Technical Committee Award for his outstanding contribution in the work of area for Development and Economy of Systems. Last ten years as chairman he contributed a lot in creation of new National and European standards for overhead lines.

He is chairman of the National Association of Electric Power engineers, CIGRE and CIRED, and from 2014 the first chairman of newly established South East European Region of CIGRE (SEERC).

Miran Fužir

Miran Fužir je univerzitetni diplomirani inženir strojništva. V podjetju Energetika Ravne je dobil redno zaposlitev sredi leta 1996. Do februarja 2000 je delal v oddelku »Razvoj in projektiva«, nato pa je prevzel vodenje Oddelka »Para, topla voda in tekoča goriva«, kjer je še vedno krovna dejavnost soproizvodnja toplote in električne energije, odgovoren pa še za nemoteno, zanesljivo in učinkovito izvajanje procesov proizvodnje vršne daljinske toplote in distribucije porabnikom v mestu in na zaokroženem gospodarskem območju, proizvodnje tehnološke pregrete pare in sanitarne tople vode.

Jože Torkar

Joze Torkar EPC4In terms of formal education, Jože Torkar (born in 1973) is a mechanical engineer and holds both a university degree and a master’s of science. His career path began in 1996 in EL-TEC Mulej, d.o.o. in the area of district heating networks management. In 2000, he took his new responsibilities as the General Manager of EL-TEC Mulej, d.o.o. By the 2010 the company become the leading regional provider of energy and environmental solutions with main focus on district energy, water distribution systems, effective lighting and energy management for buildings. After acquisition of EL-TEC Mulej d.o.o. by Petrol d.d. in August 2011 he was leading merger of both companies as CEO of Eltec Petrol Group d.o.o. Since May 2015 he is holding a position of Energy Solution Director in Petrol d.d.

He has more than 15 years of experience in the field of public-private partnerships and business models based on the Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) and Energy Supply Contracting (ESC) principles. Together with a team of innovative and committed co-workers he developed MUMESCo (Multi Utility, Mobility and Environmental Service Company) business model in response to the increasingly complex demands of clients in the public, commercial, industry and private sector.

He is a member of the Board of the Mechanical Engineers’ Section at the Slovenian Chamber of Engineers and a member of the expert council of the Slovene District Energy Association.

Jože Torkar is an author of two scientific contributions and more than twenty five expert contributions published at conferences and has received five awards for innovation and development in the area of efficient use of energy and water and reducing environmental impact.

 

Zoran Kus

Zoran Kus EPC4Zoran Kus has been working in the field of the environment and climate change for more than 30 years. Currently he is Slovenia’s main negotiator for climate change within the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning. Between 2010 and 2014 he was working at the Slovenian Permanent Representation of Slovenia to the European Union in Brussels as the environment and climate change attaché. In 2008 he was appointed by the Government of Slovenia as the State secretary for the environment and spatial planning. During the Slovenian presidency of the EU Council, in the first half of 2008, he was chairing the Environment Working Party of the EU Council. Between 1999 and 2008 he was a diplomat at the Slovenian diplomatic representation to the EU in Brussels. Zoran Kus holds a Master’s Degree in Geography from the University of Zagreb, Croatia (1989). He has graduated in Geography and Sociology from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia (1979).

Duška Godina

Duška Godina EPC4Duška Godina, univ. dipl. prav., je svojo poklicno pot začela leta 1997 na Višjem sodišču v Mariboru, leta 2000 pa se je zaposlila kot vodja službe za pravne in splošne zadeve na Javnem skladu za razvoj malega gospodarstva. V Agenciji za energijo, ki je nacionalni regulativni organ republike Slovenije na področju trga z električno energijo in zemeljskim plinom, je zaposlena od leta 2005. Skoraj ves čas zaposlitve v agenciji je opravljala delo svetovalke direktorice, vodila pravno in kadrovsko področje ter sodelovala pri sprejemanju vseh ključnih odločitev energetskega regulatorja. Dejavno je sodelovala pri kreiranju in izvajanju energetske politike ter tako pripomogla k razvoju odprtega in konkurenčnega trga z energijo. Pomembno vlogo ima tudi pri oblikovanju slovenske energetske zakonodaje, še posebej se je angažirala pri pripravah sedaj veljavnega energetskega zakona in njegovem sprejemanju. Po nekajmesečnem delovanju kot vršilka dolžnosti direktorja je bila januarja 2016 imenovana za direktorico Agencije za energijo.

Sibil Svilan

Svilan Sibil EPC4Mr. Sibil Svilan is the President of the Management Board and CEO of SID bank Inc., Ljubljana. Before that he had worked many years in banking sector on various leading positions in Slovenia and EU countries. For over 10 years he has worked in Germany at LHB Internationale Handelsbank AG, Frankfurt am Main. He was a State Secretary for Financial System and International Relations at the Ministry of Finance of Slovenia. He is an author and coauthor of various books and articles in the field of finance, banking, management, risk management and education in branch magazines and newspapers in Slovenia and Germany.

 

Andraž Šavli

Andraz Šavli EPC4Andraž Šavli je pomočnik direktorja energetskega področja v podjetju Borzen. V preteklih letih je bil odgovoren za področje organiziranja trga, ki zajema izvajanje različnih nalog operaterja trga, ki so bistvene za ustrezno delovanje trga z elektriko. Vodil je projekte sprejemanja pravil za delovanje trga z elektriko in vzpostavitve izravnalnega trga ter projekte razvoja informacijskih sistemov, ki se uporabljajo pri operaterju trga za izvajanje nalog gospodarske javne službe. Sodeluje v mednarodnih organizacijah, kot na primer Europex in je predsednik sekcije za izmenjavo podatkov IPET pri Energetski zbornici Slovenije.
